The stand alone module (SAM) G3 is a compact and portable converter that facilitates ARINC 818 to/from HDMI conversion. With support for up to 15 different factory video formats, the SAM G3 is incredibly versatile and easy to use.
Users can select the desired video format and transmit an internal test pattern via a touch screen interface on the unit. Loaded formats can have different conversion directions, video resolutions, pixel types and link rates up to 10 Gbps.
In addition, the SAM G3 application software enables users to send and retrieve images to/from the unit, view the status of incoming video, and control multiple SAM units at once. This makes it a highly convenient and practical solution for a variety of applications.
Additionally, live video can be viewed on a standard monitor to ensure that the resolution is optimal.
